What counts as a material correction
Incorrect specifications, a mistaken model or variant, an unsupported claim, a wrong merchant destination, missing financial context or a change in the verdict all deserve a clear record.
Small spelling and layout edits do not imply new research. Significant changes should identify the earlier statement, the corrected information and the source supporting the correction.
What to include in a report
Record the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, the proposed correction and an original source where possible. Model names, version numbers and regional differences can be important.
- The exact page and claim.
- The product model or document version involved.
- A source that directly supports the correction.
- Whether the issue changes a purchase or safety decision.
Correction channel status
A verified public contact channel has not yet been configured for this release. This page does not present a submission form that cannot deliver your report.
When the channel is active, it will be linked here and on individual audits. Until then, this page describes the correction policy and the information a useful report needs.
Keep the history useful
A material product correction should update its central record so related shortlists reflect the same information. Where a verdict changes, the audit should explain the evidence behind the change rather than silently replacing the conclusion.
